Halloween Fest 2023 at Ocean Park

Hongkongers will know Halloween celebrations at Ocean Park are not to be taken lightly. Once again, get ready for a series of spine-chilling scares at Halloween Fest 2023! Themed the School of Unending Horror, visitors are invited to step through the creaky gates of a haunted campus filled with the screams of the undead.

Six themed horror zones await. The journey begins at the Ghostly School Bus Depot where a school bus will take you to an abandoned and haunted Spirit Boarding School. Walking around the campus of Bad Dues, you will encounter vengeful demons eager to drag any unassuming mortals through the portal to hell, so watch your step!

A secret door within the campus will lead you to an alternate yet no less mysterious and creepy dimension—the Netherworld, where endless corridors filled with bizarre patterns and mirror mazes stretch on for eternity. Another hidden zone on campus leads into the 180 Laboratory, the base for secret experiments that turn humans into mutant weapons. Visitors must survive the attack from an escaped subject and stop an infection from spreading in a deadly battle.

Behind the Spirit Boarding School is an equally haunted Demon Grove, a forgotten forest where those who encounter the bloodthirsty yōkai (a Japanese ghost) never return. Visitors must venture through the ruins of a Japanese village within the woods to retrieve missing people. On the other end of the grove lies an abandoned film set, The House of Wraith Puppet II, haunted by an actress whose spirit has been trapped on set. Traverse through the decorated dressing rooms but keep your hands to yourself—lest you want to anger the demoness.

If you manage to make your way back from the haunted campus, be sure to check out other—albeit more light-hearted—spooky attractions in the park! From a series of Halloween shows to photo spots and performances scattered around the area, there’s plenty to do for Halloween at Ocean Park this year. Ticket information is available here.
