It’s all happening at Stanley Main Beach, where this year’s dragon boat races will feature over 168 teams and a total of over 5,000 paddlers from Hong Kong and overseas competing for the top prize. With vibrant flying banners and loud cheering from the crowds, this traditional and exciting event is sure to keep everyone’s adrenaline racing.

Apart from the race, friends and families can also enjoy a range of entertaining activities while celebrating the festival, including face painting, a photo corner to commemorate the event, as well as mini-games where participants can win gifts to take home! To cool down onlookers from the blazing summer heat, free water stations can be found around the beach to help you stay hydrated, so be sure to bring your own water bottles.

Sun Life is also partnering with The Green Earth, an environmental education NGO, to implement waste-reducing measures to promote a greener, more sustainable lifestyle.
