Following the SpongeBob SquarePants takeover of Lush Kitchen Box in May, Lush is releasing new SpongeBob-themed items to the collection. Launching in support of Paramount’s SpongeBob SquarePants: Operation Sea Change campaign, Lush has co-created new package-free cosmetic products which are available now!
Lush is no stranger when it comes to ethical and eco-friendly products, as plastic pollution is one of the top three concerns in environmental issues. Lush has also promoted hand-washing bar soaps instead of liquid bottles due to plastic pumps not being recyclable. Now, to further spread awareness, Lush has decided to use the colourful world of SpongeBob SquarePants to support the campaign for ocean conservation and protecting sea life.
In this collection, Lush features various bath bombs designs that include the titular character, a Krabby Patty, and a surprised Patrick for meme lovers. Lush also has a bubble bar featuring the cynical Squidward and a body balm shaped like SpongeBob’s pineapple home.
