Are you a hardcore basketball fan? Or perhaps you’re simply looking for something new to do during the coming summer weeks? Either way, you can’t miss out on the impressive “NBA Summer Base” experience that’s just popped up at Olympian City! Installed in classic red and blue, NBA Summer Base is on from now till the end of August, where you can indulge in an afternoon full of fun challenges, exclusive gifts, and exciting photo opportunities!
Before you get started, make sure to have the S+ Rewards app ready, as you will need an S+ membership to participate in all activities and competitions. (You can download the app for free on the App Store or Google Play.)
Once you’re ready, pick your team and customise your own e-jersey! All 30 NBA teams are available for you to choose from, whether you are a Golden State Warriors fan or just fancy the yellow and purple colour scheme of the LA Lakers. Choose wisely, as this e-jersey will follow you throughout your journey; it grants you access to the pop-up, accompanies you on photo-ops in front of an NBA-themed backdrop where you’ll wear your team’s cap, and allows you to share a “locker room” wall with your famous team members.
You can even enjoy a scoring battle with friends as if you’re playing the season’s final game, try your luck at a mini-ball claw game, and even fully immerse yourself thanks to a VR challenge. For at least half an hour, you can live your dreams of being a basketball star!
Fit for all ages, the NBA Summer Base is also hosting special events such as trivia quizzes for fans and professional photo shoots for your little ones, both of which take place on specific dates with a limited number of spots available. You will need an S+ membership to participate in all activities and competitions, but depending on how many points you have earned on your S+ account, you can also have access to the summer lucky draw.
Come prepared with your camera and best game face: all the photos you take at the pop-up’s notable photo spots, and at the life-size Tissot magazine cover, make you eligible to enter an exclusive auction where you can win a range of fabulous prizes!
Best of all, you can win autographed jerseys from the Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard Damian Lillard and Golden State Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thompson! Revamp your room with NBA-themed bed sheets, cushions, special-edition Wilson basketballs, and team posters. You could even score an all-new Microsoft Surface computer to stream future NBA games.
