Still Time

Sometimes, life in a city means you are always in a rush. But what happens if time passes by before you even realise? Still Life (Era Ora) follows a workaholic who always seems to be in a rush... until he finds himself leaping ahead a year every few hours. This time-skipping comedy offers a heartfelt and incredibly important lesson: slowing down to appreciate the little things in life and those around you is just as important as rushing to work.

The Glory

Newly released on Netflix is a dark Korean revenge drama. The Glory follows a woman as she plots an elaborate revenge scheme against those who bullied her in school. Cue drama, action, and thrilling psychological elements that aren’t for the light-hearted. If you’re hooked on this first season, you’ll be happy to know a second is in the works!

We Have A Ghost

This new Netflix film takes your cliché plot of a family moving into a haunted house and getting, well, haunted and twists it into something more relevant and rational. After encountering the friendly ghost haunting their new house, a family decides to use their unexpected housemate to their advantage and become internet sensations. However, this publicity brings more than just your casual ghost-busting fanatics to their door...

The Night Agent

If you’re a fan of Tom Hiddleston’s The Night Manager and Richard Madden’s Bodyguard, then you won’t be disappointed with Netflix’s latest series. An FBI agent monitoring a White House emergency line that never rings suddenly receives a call in the middle of the night. Little does he know that answering the call would lead him to uncover a deadly conspiracy that threatens national security. Expect a little less explosion and a little more suspense.

Class

Class is an interpretation of Elite, the Spanish Netflix hit. It follows three students from a poor neighbourhood as they enrol in a private high school exclusive to the Delhi elite as secrets, rumours, and discrimination unfolds. Adopting the skeleton from the original series, Class makes the plot relevant to contemporary India by drawing on various aspects of the country’s diverse culture, especially its rigid caste system, in a poignant critique.

Mr Queen

Another time-travelling title in Netflix Hong Kong’s repertoire, Mr Queen is a K-drama that follows the story of a modern-era elite chef who suddenly falls into the body of a young queen in the Joseon period after an accident in his home. Navigating the chaos that unfolds, this series is a heartfelt comedy that intertwines social issues with romance, imperial drama, and an unlikely culinary exchange across time.

Summer Strike

Escape to a peaceful, remote town in South Korea with Summer Strike. The series follows a young woman as she flees the hustle and bustle of urban life to live in a small town along the coast. There, she meets a local librarian sharing the same fate. Little do they know, their peaceful little paradise hides much more than what meets the eye.

MH370: The Plane That Disappeared
