Japanese rock band Radwimps is coming to Hong Kong for one night only to perform at the AsiaWorld-Expo! Hailing from Kanagawa, the established group has released over 10 albums since forming in the early 2000s, though film lovers may know the band best for its mesmerising work on the award-winning soundtracks to popular animated films by Makoto Shinkai, including Your Name, Weathering With You, and, most recently, Suzume.
Japanese singer-songwriter Toaka, who sang on the title track of Suzume, will join Radwimps on its “The Way You Yawn, and the Outcry of Peace” world tour from the Chengdu stop onwards, which means fans of the animated film might have the incredible opportunity to hear the song performed live in Hong Kong.
