Hong Kong’s largest indoor Lego playground opens today!

By Jen Paolini 6 March 2021

Grab the kids and let them know they are going on an adventure: We have just received news that the long-awaited Legoland Discovery Centre Hong Kong has finally opened at K11 Musea! Kids and adults alike can now explore not just a well-stocked Lego store selling some of your favourite Lego sets to take home, but also miniature Lego replicas of iconic Hong Kong buildings and landmarks, an interactive indoor playground, and educational experiences for families with children.

As the first and largest indoor Lego playground in Hong Kong, the Legoland Discovery Centre welcomes children and families to explore local landmarks constructed out of Lego bricks, as well as interactive attractions and exhibits. It took almost 60 Lego specialists close to 300 days to design and construct the attractions with over 1.5 million Lego bricks, resulting in Miniland Hong Kong, where visitors can marvel at iconic local landmarks and street views in miniature. Popular Hong Kong attractions, such as the Star Ferry Central Pier, Peak Tram, Tai O, Temple Street, as well as icons of Hong Kong’s cultural heritage, are put on display!

Prepare to spend two to three hours participating in interactive and educational experiences, suitable for families with children aged three to 10 years old (although, if you asked us, we think that no one is ever too old to play with Legos!). Legoland Discovery Centre offers 10 exciting themed play areas, including Kingdom QuestMaster Builder Classroom, Magic Bikes, Build & Test, and 4D Studio.

Legoland Discovery Centre has capacity control measures, thermal scanners, social distancing rules, and mask requirements in place, as well as implement enhanced sanitation measures throughout the day to clean the attractions, high-frequency touchpoints, play areas, and Lego bricks.

All ticketing offers—including single-day tickets and annual passes—can be found here. Single-day admission passes and annual passes can be purchased online as well as at-the-door starting from $240 and $1,099 per person respectively. We’ll see you there!
